Moore Center Services

Moore Center Services offers community-based programs for individuals with acquired brain disorders resulting from traumatic brain injury, stroke and other neurological impairments. The agency serves more than 1,100 people in the Manchester area. We provide innovative services including day programs, community residences, around-the-clock staffing and at-home care. The Moore Center works cooperatively with individuals, family members, private reimbursers and medicaid to provide cost-effective services. Services are developed for individuals based on their unique needs and circumstances. Moore Center focuses on accessing services within the community and utilizing everyday life experiences as teaching opportunities for the individuals with whom it works. We are also a testing ground for new technology related to the provisioning of new state services for the disabled.

XConnect:
Our challenge was connecting community residences outside the city to our home office. We needed the best way to connect these sites to the local network so that staff members can access critical client information, and perform other functions, such as electronic timekeeping. We encountered problems with AT&T (now Comcast) based on their definition of our remote community homes. Then we discovered G4’s XConnect, which comes in a variety of flavors. It allowed us to customized connnectivity for each house through G4’s DSLAM to our network. Our services were created on a house-by-house basis using our own IP addresses making it a private DSL verses a typical internet connection. G4 plugged away to make this customization possible. Encouraged verizon to follow through with their obligation.

The personal attention we receive from G4 is one of the reasons we stay with the company. We deal with one sales representative and he is there for us before, during and after the sale. When G4 promises something, they deliver it. Their flexible technology has helped us transform the way we provide services to our clients.
